Russian gangsters make own action drama
Russian mobsters are making their own action drama series because they say Russian TV doesn't portray them properly.
The programme was produced by Vitalij Djomocka after he apparently became upset at the unrealistic portrayal of gangster life.
Djomocka, who has been sentenced for a number of crimes in the past, wrote the screenplay for the series.
He also took the leading role and persuaded other gangsters to appear in an effort to make the show as "realistic" as possible.
The only actors involved in the series, which tells the true story of the theft of an entire train carrying Japanese cars from Vladivostok to Ussurijsk in north-east Russia, were those playing policemen, local media reported.
Local TV stations will broadcast the show in the next few weeks.
Police have refused to comment.
Discombobulated: To be thrown into a state of confusion.
