Online Dating

I've joined an online dating thing ...........
After a quick scan of the profiles out there I'm not terribly hopeful!
The site requests that you put in some info about yourself (to lure in your catch).
It seems that many of the men on this site have a problem with that which surprises me, don't most men find it easy to talk about their favourite subject - themselves?
 
Anyway, here are a few of the selection I have before me
 

• Here we go again blah something key about yourself blah to be honest, I have no idea what other people find interesting about me, as I am not in the habit of picking myself up in bars or having meaningful 3am conversations with myself about the human condition. Perhaps I should be, then I wouldn't be on this site. I could tell a lot of lies about looking for that "special someone", but I don't really believe they're out there, and I very much doubt if they're reading this. PS If you don't find yourself attractive, don't even try to contact me. I try not to be too picky but I will not, I can not, date an ugly woman.

 

• Been in HK for a while and enjoy it most of the time. Need a friend to enjoy it with. Online dating is, well it sucks but the bars are worse so let's try it. Bla bla bla. If you are a woman with the opinion that you are Go's finest creation leave me alone. Not sure what to expect here so I am not going to write to much, you;ll have to chat with me to find that out. So Am I there yet? Man not yet, need to keep writing more worthless information. Save says more still let's go check again.Still says no. Why do I need to wrtie 200 frigging words?

 

• 100 to 150+ words? you must be kidding me. that sounds like a lot of words to write. oh well, let's give it a try.

 

• Been in HK for about 10 years now, a few serious relationships that never went anywhere. I'm more interested in finding out more about a person first before jumping into anything. god, dunno what else to write in this space to make it up to te required number so please ignore all this gibberrish taht i am writing. So i submit and submit but it still will not let me submit coz not enough words! how many does this stupid thing take?? it does not help that i am a very slow typist so this has already taken me ten minutes already! i am just about to give up if it carries on like this

 

• ...me? ... nothing interesting really, just came down here to earn some bucks, drink loads of fizz and shag a handful Oriental beauties .... well, sort of .... I am still in watch mood though .... not infected by the yellow fever yet .... what am I looking for on this site? .... just being curious I guess ... but then again who knows? --- while you dance the nights off at Kee Club or Drop you might accidentally stare in my eyes .... but then again I might as well be seen sipping on a cocktail in one of the bars around Hollywood Road ....

 

• Is anyone out there who's not materialistic, charming, funny, good looking & not too childish? You don't have to be a model but you should have some style, at least don't wear any 'Hello Kitty' stuff!!! If yes, drop me a line or two! Normally I go out in TST and enjoy good food but it's quiet boring to dine alone. Even this service here is free of charge I think it is stupid to asked for one hundred words or more but that is the rule so I'm trying to fulfill their request.

 

• I'm a pretty fit and happy 45 year old male,looking for first of all a contact with a like minded lady and then maybe a dicreet relationship. However, I have lived in HK for a number of years and have had enough of Filipinos, Thai's so sorry ladies from these contries do not contact me. That leaves western and of course Chinese ladies to be considered. I enjoy all sports, going out to bars and particularly like a good bottle of wine or two with a nice meal. • hi , i m ..., little crazy , mostly naughty, very hot to handle, kool to be with , sum it all in a word ....'supercalifragilisticexpadociuos' ... ~_- , i really am bad writing about myself , good yes of course i m ( mmm very),virtuous i m not( no way) , like a good company (yes yes yes) , need lots of love and XXX n hugs and kisses too, this seems to be getting interesting rest lets leave it for the imagination to conjure up and see where this road leads to .... so what are we waiting for lets go .....
