Cheeky Latin

I was chatting with one of my favourite Scottish friends last night and the subject of Latin words came up (as it does!) we then found out the following useful words on just one page of my dictionary....

circumgemo - to growl round
circumrodo - to nibble around
circumscindo - to strip
circumlino - to smear all over
circumplector - embrace
circumvagus - encircling
circumtentus - covered tightly
circumsurgens - rising on all sides
circumsilio - to be rampant
circumvelo - to envelop

I've managed to drop at least 4 of the above words in emails to men today.

Anything starting with circum.. makes me distinctly nervous.

Phil, it was a comment like that which started off the whole thing :)
