Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo are a 14-man ballet company from New York who perform classical ballet excerpts, both male and female roles, to dazzling and hilarious effect.
"The Trocks", as they are affectionately known, were formed in 1974 by a group of ballet enthusiasts for the purpose or presenting a playful, entertaining view of traditional, classical ballet.
Many years ago I spent a lot of time at the Ballet, something to do with getting free tickets and it being the only time I could see my then boyfriend meant that most Friday nights I was at Covent Gardens. I suspect that this performance will be a little different.

Yay! We love the Trocks!!! Go see them, they are hysterical and very skilled dancers. They are out of NYC and we go see them, usually at the Joyce, whenever they are in town. The best "dying swan" ever.

No, Mia, WAAAAY more than a giggle. Get tickets for as many of the shows as you can because I think they do different programs every night. And then DO NOT FAIL to report back on the experience. I will not give anything away, but I guarantee that you will start laughing from the moment the announcer begins to speak before any of them even take the stage. God, I miss them.
