Made a new friend

Today I was supposed to attend an IT 'thing', I was going to be taught how to use a piece of equipment that I didn't know existed nor am I likely to have access to it even if I did want to use it. However in my bid to broaden my knowledge I signed up for the lesson.

10 mins before the lesson was due to start just as I was about to set off across the building to be in the right place at the right time, I had a knock on my door, there was a handsome man, looking for me!

HM: Are you Mia?
Mia: Indeed I am, can I help you? (In almost ANY way!)
HM: Umm yes, I'm Eric, I'm running the course you signed up for, but there is a problem.
Mia: Yesssssss
HM: Someone has double booked the room, they are in there now and won't be out till much later, do you want to wait till 6.30pm OR as your the only person who actually signed up for the course (place for 15 people) I can schedule it when ever it suits you.
Mia: I think perhaps the 2nd option, but while your here can you show me how to do X,Y and Z.

Handsome Man then spent the next 30 mins showing me how to do something I would never have figured out on my own.
He left with the words "Just give me a call if I can help you in any other way, now I know where you are, I can drop by easily"

Now THAT's the sort of IT support I like.
