You asking me?

Have had a day where every where I turn I'm being asked for help, in a good way.
In a way that implies I know what I'm doing!

Thus far I've had
  • A blogger asking advice about how to do something on his site.
  • A colleague at work asking me to help them with some IT problem, which the IT department said they would get to by Thursday (it took me 5 mins to show her and then another 2 mins for her to show me that she knew how to do it herself next time).
  • A sibling asking advice about how to approach our parents regarding a delicate family situation.
  • A friend who is a new father ask my advice on how to approach the new mother regarding a delicate situation.
  • A newbie in Hong Kong ask for a good dentist.
  • An expat woman in the street ask me to call the police for her as she was being threatened by a man. (He ran away at that point)
  • A call from a single male friend who has no idea on what to by the above new baby as a gift.
  • An email asking if I know where to get a good potato masher from (the PanHandler in Princes Building - the only thing in there under $45, but its a great one)
  • A friend asking me to hear her presentation before she goes in front of the big boss tomorrow.

I think my work is done for the day!
