Dinner for two

Have spent quite some time talking and emailing with my sib who is planning to woo his new lady love this weekend with a rather special dinner for two, problem is that he can't cook and she's a vegetarian, he's a dab hand at the BBQ but that's about it for culinary skills.

However he is now armed with a 3 course menu, that I have written down step by step what he should be doing and when, so hopefully the dessert won't have any basil in it.

He made the dessert last night.

Sib: Dessert is looking pretty damn fine :-) Just need to put the chocolate shavings on it and its all done. I was slightly worried as it didn't seem to want to set but its fine this morning. Maybe I put too much brandy in
Mia:Yep it is best made ahead of time, so it will set, a slip of the wrist for extra brandy is fine, but hope you didn't put too much as all the other flavours will be drowned . Bet you licked the spoon didn't you!
Sib:Didn't put too much in and it tastes fine. The spoon, the knife, the spatula and the bowl ;-)

Typical, the only single nice guy I know and he's my brother!
