Got a lovely note from a good friend today, our lives are both getting more hectic as the months roll on but today she said "lets make a resolution to spend some time with each other at least once a fortnight* in the next year".
She's a good friend, she listens when I cry and laughs with me (and sometimes at me) when I'm happy. And most of all in my darkest hour she got out of her bed at 2.30am in answer to my phone call and sat with me to hold my hand when I needed someone. I'm not going to let our busy lives let us drift apart. Efforts will be made.
*that's 2 weeks for you 2 Americans out there
