Reading the Wanchai Chronicles via Shaky this evening.
Sad for all parties involved, the men who can't resist sleeping with teenage girls, the wives and girlfriends they betray but most of all for the girls themselves.
The girls who can only see a way out of the life that fate has dealt them by offering the only currency they have to men old enough to be their fathers in exchange for a promise, a hope of a better future.

I went to pattaya once...that was so sad!
only lasted for 2 days, then I had to go elsewhere to keep my sanity!
Those 'girls' are often not teenagers, nor are they helpless victims. It may be a sad scene, as you suggest, because hurt and anger abound, as do spite, contempt and lies. Human beings at their most beautiful and least attractive.
Anon, it may be, but still the men go back Sunday after Sunday after Sunday for more.
