Packing up, clearing out and moving on

Had a long chat with my father last night and he casually mentioned that he and mother went house hunting online over the weekend and hope to move out of their current house as soon as possible. WHAT! No one told me they were moving! To a whole different country!!
Crikey! I haven't lived in that house since I went away as a student, and rarely would visit even when in London, but STILL you'd think they might mention it.
There are things in that spare back room also known as Mia's teenage bedroom that I might want still. Ok so I've not needed them in the *ahem* few years since but I still don't want them thrown away in the skip that is currently outside the house.
I'm sending my brother over there this weekend to see what he can find!
