The Phoenix

Just home from a very emotional evening spent at The Phoneix restaurant with The Smoking Man, had a lot of catching up to do.
Reaffirmed what we mean to each other and drank lots and lots of wine, The Phoenix is a BYO restaurant, so we did, far to much......... the food was tasty my highlight being the Honey icecream or the roast potatoes (not necessarily enjoyed at the same time!!)
A lovely night, company was perfect, wine was free flowing (well we did bring the *ahem* 3 bottles) and the food delicious, conversation flowed just as easily as the wine. What more could a lady ask for.

Update. It's always nice to hear the other party enjoyed himself just as much as I did. Got this email first thing this morning

Dinner was wonderful.

I can't believe we sat there until well after 1am. There again, it is always like that with you. Once we get talking, time just flys by. You really are wonderful company.
