Update on Texting While Tipsy
I had managed to send a text to the subject of my text rather than to the friend who had asked for the update. Ooops!
Neither of us have mentioned it since, so we are playing the 'if we don't talk about it, then it didn't really happen' tactic. That's fine.
It really is about time that phones came with an alcohol awareness barrier!

they shoujld come with a breathalyzer mouthpiece that automatically shuts down the phone after a legal limit.
