Reading Phil on Flying Chair where he talks about getting spam from AsiaXpat, one of their replies while insisting that they don't spam was that ..........
2. If you fail to open 5 consecutive emails from us regardless if you unsubscribe, you are removed from our database.
That is a load of tosh! As Phil points out ' BTW: surely people automatically "open" an email by seeing it in the viewing pane before they delete it. - I am sure you check to see whether a graphic or some such is downloaded. That is not a very worthwhile measurement of lack of interest.'
But I have been receiving trash for buying homes in Phuket and Australia as well as other such spam to my hotmail account and I delete it without even seeing it a viewing pane.
For months and months and months. And no I haven't been going back on the site to use their free facilities. In fact I haven't been on there since I was trying to sell my spare bed ..... and that was 14 months ago.
ENOUGH all ready!
Discombobulated: To be thrown into a state of confusion.

The last piece of spam I got from them was something about buying Australian Defence force homes. I've always wondered whether the classifieds section of the asiaxpat website is any good for selling items.
