I've been having a bad time sleeping this last few weeks so I decided to move my bed around in the hope of catching some good Feng Shui.
The foot of my bed used to point towards a window, its a window with an amazing view of the city and harbor facing the East, so I'm lucky enough to wake up at dawn and see the sun rise over our fair city (that's on days when I can actually see past the Bank of China building!) and I really like that.
But as I have a queen sized bed, 2 large bedside tables and a built in wardrobe I didn't actually have that many options on where to move my bed too.
I did what I could, I moved the bed 3 ft closer to the window and decided to sleep facing the other direction, with my head under the window so now the sun actually comes up behind me. I have a 2 ft deep marble window ledge actually between my bed and the window.
It seems as though I usually nestle up into my pillow in my sleep till its firmly against the wall as I keep waking up and finding that I've traveled up the bed and onto the marble window ledge and only stop when my pillow wedges against the window. BUT apart from that little fact I've been sleeping much better (or I've just been so exhausted this week).
Will make things easier next time I want to invite a 7ft tall man over to check out the view.
Discombobulated: To be thrown into a state of confusion.
